 | Performance Enhancement Performance enhancement is a key component in what Center for Internal Change, Inc. offers its clients through CALM℠ Coaching, consulting, and workshops (in person, by phone, email, or through web conferencing). I believe performance enhancement is often about getting “out of our own way,” “getting unstuck”, and “letting rather than trying.” I facilitate my clients in developing and accessing emotional and mental resources in relation to "performance". I teach my clients how to replace performance inhibiting emotions such as anxiety, panic and doubt into performance enhancing emotions such as passion, calmness, focus and confidence. Much of my coaching can be described as self regulated emotional management. It has been shown that Successful and High Performance people often have several common traits. These include: having a plan which includes a clear outcome which is realistic and measurable; a strategy which can be monitored through feedback received on a sensory level, and the flexibility to adjust their strategy and outcome when necessary. When working with clients my approach is based on flexibility, adapting to my clients’ needs and preferred style for learning and change. To be flexible I have explored (and continue to explore) different approaches, tools and resources which can be customized to meet your needs. These approaches include: NLP (neuro-linguist programming), EMDR, Cognitive and Behavioral Technologies, hypnosis, systemic stress management, e.g. relaxation, meditation and Freeze-Frame®(developed by Doc Childre and the Institute of HeartMath) and the DiSC®Personal Profile System (as well as profiles for leadership, listening/communication, teambuilding, learning style, motivation), as well as a strong understanding of human behavior and development.
