CALM℠ Coaching ?

CALM℠ (Career and Life Management) Coaching is a systemic approach to coaching that transcends all aspects of life by combining fundamental theories with the latest research in the areas of human and organizational behavior and development, motivation, change (personal & organizational), systems theory, chaos, and complexity theory, emotional intelligence, humanistic psychology, NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), conflict resolution, stress management, leadership and team building & dynamics. This allows for customized coaching to meet our client's specific needs and personality, whether the client is an individual, executive, team, small business, or corporation. A CALM Coach has the strategic intent of having his/her client become self-generating and self-correcting. Goal of a CALM Coach is to become obsolete and to minimize any dependence on the Coach. In developing the CALM℠ (Career and Life Management) Coaching approach I have integrated my own unique experiences, which include 12 years in the financial and business world and over eight years as a psychotherapist and performance coach plus many advanced certifications and trainings and research in Organizational and Personal Development (for more information on my background click here).
CALM Coaching requires forming a trusting alliance founded on your agenda. As we all have our unique and optimal style of learning, growing, and changing our first objective is to determine how I can best benefit you. I adapt to you. Working as your coach or facilitator, we will identify your goals, as well as, what is keeping you from achieving them. We set benchmarks that measure your progress and the effectiveness of your strategies in meeting your objectives. My job is to help provides you with the tools, support and structure to accomplish your needs. Our mutual commitment is to work together for at least three months so that results will be realized and maintained. Often this is accomplished through weekly in person, telephone, or email sessions, the process is customized to meet your objectives. Each session includes processing, evaluating, strategizing, and feedback. We examine what is working and what is not. Why "CALM" Coaching ? Scientific research continues to reveal the detrimental effects which negative stress and anxiety have on our life, relationships, career, and health, which often inhibit fulfilling our goals and needs. As you are coached you will learn to gain control over limiting, self-defeating thoughts, immobilizing feelings, and useless beliefs, which often cause us to feel "stuck" or ineffective. While examining and researching what most people want from life I found that most people, simply put, want to feel "good", " happy" and "healthy." They want to feel appreciated, respected, safe, secure, and loved. People want a balance in their lives and desire to minimize feelings of
negative stress and lack of control. This lead to the development of my coaching concept of Career and Life Management or CALM℠ to create a state of calm. Being able to trigger a state of CALM, at will, can positively impacting your quality of life, performance, and success, as well as, your ability to control or eliminate toxic stress in your life. How Do I Get Started? contact us for a free personal consultation. We'll discuss your goals and determine how working together can benefit your life. You will complete an assessment form and answer some questions. Next, we will establish a schedule, usually once a week for 30-45 minutes, but it can be more or less often depending on your needs.
